The District of Katepwa requests quotations for the supply and delivery of approximately 200 yards of ¼” crushed gravel to various locations within the District during the 2020 year.
 
All quotations received by District of Katepwa and as such are subject to the Local Authority of Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
 
Quotations sealed in an envelope, clearly marked with the supplier’s name and address and the project name will be accepted until to 2:00 p.m. (local time), March 13, 2020 and will be received by:

It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that its Bid is received at the above location and by the time stipulated. Bids received after the stipulated time will be rejected and returned to the Bidder unopened. The District reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids and to waive any informality, incompleteness or error in any bid. This is a Request for Quotations only. The District shall not be obligated in any manner whatsoever to any supplier until a letter of award is received by the bidder.

RFQ 2020-01 Crushed Gravel

SPECIFICATIONS
1. Introduction

The District of Katepwa requires approximately 200 yards of 3/4"  gravel (granular base course material) for use within District limits. The successful bidder will be responsible for the supply and delivery of the material to various locations throughout the District. Delivery will include supply and operation of necessary equipment, tools, staff and fuel to deposit the material on District property in the locations and quantities specified. Bidders are to quote a price per yard, including delivery and all other charges excluding GST. The District of Katepwa shall be solely responsible to specify delivery locations and quantities, and to ensure reasonable access to those locations for trucks on the delivery date.
 
2. Scope and Location of Work: The successful bidder will be responsible to:

• Supply and deliver up to 200 yards of 3/4"crushed (granular base course material).

• Supply all tools, equipment and fuel.

• Deliver material throughout year to the locations specified, within District limits.
 
3. Submission Requirements

• Bids must include the Bid Form, completed in full:

• The bid must be received at the closing location by the specified closing date and time, delivered in sealed envelope and clearly marked “RFQ 200-01 Crushed Gravel”.

• The bid must be signed by a person authorized to sign on behalf of the Proponent.
