TransGas (TGL) intends to expand the Prud’Homme Storage Facility in section 12-038-28 W2M east of the City of Saskatoon. The primary purpose of the expansion is to:

supply gas to the SaskPower Aspen Power Plant
increase storage injection & withdrawal rates from 7 existing storage caverns
improve gas supply for the City of Saskatoon, surrounding towns and municipalities, and provide incremental supply for future customer growth

The expanded facility ‘C’ and ‘D’ Plant will be constructed adjacent to the existing ‘A’ and ‘B’ Plants on the expanded civil pad previously constructed by others.
