Fundraising Feasibility Study & Capital Campaign -- 19-1204

Saskatoon Public Library (SPL) is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced firms to explore what financial goals might be feasible within a capital campaign and to conduct a capital campaign for the New Central Library.


The consultant and consulting team must possess recent significant experience in capital campaign planning and execution and be familiar with the Saskatoon community and fundraising environment.

The goal of the project is to:

  • Assess the philanthropic community’s interest in supporting a capital campaign and explore what financial goals might be feasible within a capital campaign.
  • Based on the feasibility study raise funds required to construct a new central library.

The successful consultant will be expected to work with the Library Board, CEO and administration, and other designated employees and volunteer community champions to ensure that the deliverables meet the Library’s expectations and the needs of the community.

The role of the consultant is to:

  • Develop & deliver a feasibility study.
  • Execute a capital campaign.
