This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS), on behalf of the Ministry of Health (HEO) and the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) (collectively referred to herein as the Authority), for prospective Proponents to provide Submissions for the provision of 150-200 Addiction Treatment Spaces, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A).

The Authority is committed to providing an additional 150 – 200 addiction treatment spaces across the continuum to include a combination of outpatient services, inpatient treatment, and recovery or transitional services delivered by third party providers throughout the entire province of Saskatchewan. The intention is to award contracts with the top ranked Proponents until the budget is expended or 150 to 200 treatment spaces are obtained.

Priority will be given to Proponents who score the highest-with the highest number of beds in areas of the province with the highest need and high-risk areas. For the purpose of this RFP, an emphasis is placed on inpatient service options including detox.
