This Negotiated Request for Proposal (NRFP) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) to prospective proponents to provide submissions for the provision of consulting services (Services) to assist in the development of a new Environmental Farm Plan workbook, as further described in the NRFP Particulars (Appendix A).

Saskatchewan’s Ministry of Agriculture (Ministry) provides an online, self-assessment tool called the Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) that primary producers can use to evaluate on-farm agri-environmental risks and create an action plan to address identified risks.  The current EFP does not meet emerging international sustainability standards, such as the Sustainable Agriculture Initiative (SAI) platform’s Farm Sustainability Standard (FSA) 2.1.  In addition, there is the opportunity to develop an EFP workbook that provides an improved user experience.
