The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has a requirement for the provision of patient tubs. The purpose of this Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is to signal the SHA’s intention to have a multi-vendor pricing agreement for these goods until May 1, 2021 with an option to extend these pricing agreements by one year:

• ARJO Canada Inc., 90 Matheson Blvd. West Suite #350, Mississauga, ON. L5R 3R3
• Handicare Canada Ltd. 355 Norfinch Dr., North York, ON. M3N 1Y7
  • Note: Handicare has an existing contract for Beka Avero Premium Plus Tubs that will remain in place outside of this pricing agreement.                                                                                                       

Before awarding a contract, however, the SHA is providing other suppliers with the opportunity to demonstrate that they are capable of satisfying the requirements set out in this Notice, by submitting a statement of capabilities during the ten business day posting period.

In the event the SHA receives any written statements of capabilities,  the SHA will conduct an evaluation of such received statements.  If, as a result of such evaluation, the SHA determines that one or more suppliers other than Charis Medical, ARJO Canada Inc. and Handicare Canada Ltd.  are capable of meeting the SHA’s requirements, the SHA may also enter into a pricing agreement with that company or conduct a further competitive process before making any final award.  Such further competitive process may include a publicly issued Request for Proposal or a Request for Proposal issued only to Charis Medical, ARJO Canada Inc.and Handicare Canada Ltd. or any supplier that SHA has determined is capable of meeting the SHA’s requirements.

If no written statements of capabilities are received by the SHA, or if the SHA determines based on its evaluation that no supplier who has submitted a written statement of capabilities is capable of meeting the SHA’s requirements, The SHA intends to proceed to esatablish pricing agreements with Charis Medical, ARJO Canada Inc. and Handicare with no further procurement process will be undertaken by the SHA.
