This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Water Security Agency (“WSA”) to prospective respondents to submit proposals for the Grant Devine Spillway PLC Installation, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).

Generally, the project consists of the supply and installation of programmable logic controller (PLC) system hardware for the Grant Devine Dam Spillway.  The installation includes the removal of select existing components, fabrication and installation of new components, and commissioning of the new PLC system.  Engineering documents have been created by MPE Engineering Ltd. for this project.

WSA is a Treasury Board Crown corporation within the meaning of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993 (Saskatchewan) that is governed by The Water Security Agency Act (Saskatchewan).  WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province’s water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing 72 dams and related supply channels.
