SaskPower Media Monitoring 2020 -- ECCS-SP-Media2020

SaskPower requires a vendor to provide the following:

Print monitoring. This includes monitoring and providing summaries of SaskPower and related industry stories in major daily Saskatchewan and national newspapers, Saskatchewan weekly and community newspapers, and national and provincial business, consumer and trade magazines.
Broadcast monitoring. This includes collection, analysis and delivery of broadcast news stories across Canada from news and public affairs programs over Saskatchewan and Canadian radio and television stations.
Internet and Blogs and all social media monitoring. Source and summarize stories on Canadian and American news-related Internet sites, including blogs and all social media sites.
Social media monitoring. An overall scan of media articles and mentions of SaskPower on social media (Facebook and Twitter primarily).
Provide online portal. To consolidate media coverage from all sources from print, television, radio, electronic, newsfeed, Internet and Blog sites. This portal should have the ability for SaskPower to: sort and filter coverage; view or order items online; generate reports; organize content; receive new coverage notifications; and distribute media releases.
Provide a global media contacts database. An always up-to-date list of names of editors and contact people for major media outlets and agencies provincially, nationally and internationally.
Provide a media release distribution system. A way for SaskPower to distribute media releases to all or a portion of the media contacts database...
 

...Provide an automated daily media clippings package. A detailed, daily media brief sent to SaskPower Media Relations to be further disseminated within the organization.
Provide campaign-based statistics with a media analysis package. A detailed and comprehensive report generated through the online portal that captures a campaign’s average value in market, related coverage, and overall reporting tone.

Interested suppliers must demonstrate professional experience in:

Providing media monitoring services to utility companies of similar size to SaskPower
Monitoring Saskatchewan- and Canada-based media outlets while adhering to privacy and broadcasting legislations
Providing comprehensive and detailed media summaries
Providing exceptional client support

Suppliers must also demonstrate integrity, professionalism and innovation in the services they provide.
