The Rural Municipality (RM) of Frenchman Butte No. 501 is reconstructing approximately 1.3km of Winkler Road, East of St. Walburg, SK. The Project is located on the East edges of NE 33-53-22 W3M and SE 04-54-22 W3M in the RM of Frenchman Butte.
The Project will be completed to reconstruct the road surface, replace outdated infrastructure, allow the roadway to meet both current and future traffic needs as well as to maintain surface drainage across the Project extent.

Road reconstruction activities across the Project extent will include expanding the Project right-of-way, upgrading the road top, side slopes and ditches, widening and straightening the road, raising the grade of the road, replacing all existing culverts, installation of new culverts, improving existing approaches, back sloping and surfacing. Construction materials will include clay and sand sourced from outside the RoW and a borrow area located in NE 33-53-22 W3M.
