This pre-qualification process is only for general contractors that have the ability and interest to act as a Prime Contractor.  Successfully pre-qualified respondents may be invited to submit a tender in a subsequent and separate process and, if successful, enter into a contract directly with City of Prince Albert for work related to the Aquatic and Arenas Recreation Centre.  Subcontractors and suppliers will not be pre-qualified under this process.

The proposed work is listed below but may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the City of Prince Albert: 

New Aquatic and Arenas Recreation Centre including:

Aquatic natatorium (52,500 sq/ft),
  - 8 lane 25.0 m competition pool
  - 1 m and 2 m diving boards
  - Zero depth entry wave pool & splash pad
  - Lazy river
  - Whirlpool
  - 2 water slides
Twin arenas (73,500 sq/ft),
  - Twin pads
  - 10 team dressing rooms and 2 official dressing rooms
  - 2nd level spectator seating
Shared lobby,
Mechanical, process, electrical, structural
Site development including parking lot and landscaping
Constructing all works in accordance with the Contract
