Tenders will be opened at the Regular Meeting of Council on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. local time.

Tender Acceptance:
The Municipality reserves the right to refuse to accept any or all tenders, and the lowest tender not necessarily be accepted.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any tender may be rejected which is incomplete, obscure, or irregular.
The Municipality reserves the right to cancel the acceptance of any tender at any time before execution of the contract by all parties without any liability against the Municipality.

Tender Limitations:
Oral and telephone tenders will not be considered.
​Oral and telephone modifications to submitted tenders will not be considered.  Modifications will only be accepted in writing.

Tender Submissions:
All tenders shall include the following information: Hauling price must be stated per cubic yard/per mile based on an approximate 30,400 cubic yard stockpile of crushed gravel. 

Loading and stockpiling price must be stated per cubic yard. The contractor must supply their own loading and stockpiling equipment.
A listing of the type of equipment/machinery to be used for the completion of the gravel haul along with a copy of valid liability insurance must be provided.
A copy of an up-to-date clearance or letter of good standing with the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board is to be included with the tender submission.  Payment of Sask. WCB premium is the responsibility of the contractor.
Contract potential starting date is on February 10, 2021 and must be completed by March 12, 2021.

Project Specifications:
The gravel will be hauled from NW 15-02-17W2M (RM of Lake Alma No. 8) to NE 6-02-15W2M (Ratcliffe - RM of Souris Valley No. 7) which is approximately a 13.5 mile (22 km) haul. Route will be determined after the contract is awarded..
