Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (“SCA”) is a non-profit organization, the primary function of which is to provide leadership in health promotion, early detection, treatment and research for cancer in the province of Saskatchewan. These services are provided directly to the patient through the Allan Blair Cancer Centre (“ABCC”) in Regina, the Saskatoon Cancer Centre (“SCC”) in Saskatoon, and the Early Detection Programs located in Regina and Saskatoon.

SCA is seeking competitive proposals from prospective purchasers for the purchase and removal of a Cancer Radiation Therapy Linear Accelerator. This linear accelerator (“linac”) is surplus to SCA’s current requirements and will be replaced by a new machine later this year.  Purchase and removal is to occur within the timeframe listed in the RFP.
