STUDENT TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
PROPOSAL ABSTRACT:
The two aforementioned School Boards are jointly requesting Proposals for the provision of Student Transportation Services for designated students attending their schools as required.
The term of Contract shall commence on July 1, 2026, and shall remain in effect until June 30, 2032, unless otherwise terminated in accordance with the terms outlined herein. The Boards’ reserve the right to extend the Contract for four (4) additional years, for a maximum potential Contract period of ten (10) years, or re-tender the service. The Proponent shall price all years of the Term including the potential extension years. As an option, Proponents shall also indicate in their proposal response, the benefits of a seven-year contact with three (3) additional one (1) year extensions.
This RFP will include approximately 154 routes which is a combination of routes from the two Boards and each will be a mixture of special education, language immersion, designated area, rural, and kindergarten/pre-K. Bidders will also be expected to provide pricing for student charter services. Submissions must be made for the approximate number of bus routes provided. The award will be made jointly to one Service Provider. Evaluation criteria to be detailed in the full RFP.
