North-East Solid Waste Feasibility Studies -- 2021A-01045

The Ministry of Government Relations for and on behalf of the Northern Municipal Trust Account (NMTA) is requesting proposals from engineering consultants for the provision of services to provide Solid Waste Management Feasibility Studies for the communities within the North East Regional Solid Waste Management (NERSWM) area.  The area includes 5 Municipalities and 6 First Nation sites along Highway 106, 135, 167, and 911 in the North East area of the Province.  Feasibility Studies are crucial to determine specific infrastructure options as well as the capital and operating costs associated with each.  A Feasibility Study is a flexible process that should be tailored to the specific circumstances of the individual Communities and the NERSWM area.  The study author’s central responsibility is to determine how best to use this flexibility to conduct an efficient and effective Feasibility Study that achieves high-quality results in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Proposals will be received at the office of the Project Manager up to 5:00 p.m. local time on Friday, April 16, 2021.  Engineering consultants may obtain the Request for Proposal documents from the office of the Project Manager by request.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
