The Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) is conducting an Invitation to Tender (ITT) to establish a Standing Offer(s) (SO) for the supply of bulk propane on an if and when needed basis to all government ministries, agencies, crown corporations, and MASH (Municipalities, Academia, Schools or Health Care) organizations at various locations throughout the province of Saskatchewan.

A SO(s) for the supply of bulk propane on an if and when needed basis to the following customers is required:

Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure (Highways)
Ministry of Environment
Ministry of Agriculture
Ministry of Central Services
Ministry of Corrections and Policing
Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport
Northland College
Cumberland House Health Clinic
School Divisions
Additional users that may be added in the future

History shows that approximately 870,000 litres of propane will be consumed annually.

Fuel Specifications

The propane fuel supplied must meet the following Canadian General Standards Board specification:

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Propane) for Fuel Purposes CAN/CGSB-3.14-2013 Corr. 1, Grade 1.

Acceptance of any propane supply is conditional upon manufacturer’s compliance with Canadian Federal Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Regulations.

All bulk propane supplied must meet industry standards for the intended application.
