The Lafleche Dam is located approximately 10 km south of Gravelbourg, SK on the Wood River. The Lafleche Dam includes a 396 m long earth filled embankment, a low level outlet (LLO), and a gated concrete spillway. Based on an inspection of the LLO it was determined that rehabilitation of the conduit is required. The 110 m long LLO has been separated into two distinct sections as part of this project: "The Embankment Section" which consists of an approximately 36 m long section beneath the embankment dam from the gate well to the toe of the dam; and "The Downstream Section" which consists of the remaining 74 m long section from the toe of the dam to the spillway chute wall. The Work to be completed under this Contract includes the following:

1. Embankment Section:

 - Grouting of the annular void spaces between the original host corrugated steel pipe (CSP) and the CSP liner conduit and grouting of the pipe to soil interface along the outside of the host CSP conduit.
- Install a Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) liner to facilitate injection grouting.
- Install a high density polyethylene (HDPE) liner using slip-line method and grout the annular space between the new HDPE pipe and existing CSP liner.
- Install a new manhole on the downstream side of the dam.
- Install back plate within the gate well to adapt the gate opening to the new conduit.
- Construct a filter diaphragm consisting of engineered filter sand. The filter diaphragm will be constructed around the conduit and located at the dam toe and immediately upstream of the manhole.

2. Downstream Section:

- Replace the LLO using open-trench excavation installation method. Install a new HDPE conduit.
- Connect the LLO to the new manhole and to the existing spillway chute wall.
