SRC is inviting responses for Facilities Electrical Services (“the Project”).  When mutually agreeable between SRC and the successful Respondent, any resulting agreement may be extended to cover additional related requirements for the next approximate three (3) year period. 

SRC will evaluate and identify the quotation that provides the best overall value to SRC, including but not limited to aspects pertaining to technical features and options, qualifications and experience, Indigenous inclusion, pricing, delivery schedule,  after-sales support, references, clarifications, negotiations and any other aspect of the products or services quoted, as determined by SRC in its sole discretion. 

For the supply of all labour, tools, equipment, vehicles, travel time and materials to provide electrical services for small, non-planned or emergency repair services on an as-when-required basis for various SRC sites.

The eventual agreement will be on a non-exclusive and on an if, as and when-requested basis.

 

4.2       Scope of Work

Work under this Contract may include but is not necessarily limited to:

4.2.1  Install, test, maintain, repair or replace electrical equipment including electrical distribution panel, motor control centre, UPS system, lighting, telecommunication cabling system, building access control and monitoring systems and related equipment.

4.2.2  Conduct test and inspections of standard and custom laboratory and process control equipment to ensure compliance with Canadian Electrical Codes and safety standards. Co-ordinate Field Evaluation activities with SCC-accredited inspector(s) for approval of unique and custom equipment.

4.2.3  Install, test, maintain and repair electrical services for various process equipment, laboratory instruments and HVAC equipment.

4.2.4  Conduct preventative maintenance on emergency lighting systems and carry out predictive maintenance for essential electrical distribution equipment and infrastructure.

4.3       Alternative Scopes of Work

4.3.1  Provide emergency work 24/7 on an as-and-when-required basis. Expected response time to be four (4) hours or less.

4.3.2  Provide weekend on-call (standby) coverage on an as-and-when-required basis.
