The Town of Rockglen is looking for tenders for subcontractors to complete the following:

Bathroom remodel and repairs to 3 existing bathrooms in the Rockglen Community Rink.  Please quote per bathroom,

Carpentry: 

1. Removal of existing shower, sink, toilet and flooring
2. Remove and replace rotten or damaged sub floor, floor joists, and wall sheeting (if needed)
3. Instillation of floor drain for proper water drainage
4. Ensure bathroom floors are water proof with waterproof membrane, and replaced with rubber matting safe for skates.
5. Ventilation fans installed in each ceiling for moisture control
6. Waterproof, locking and self closing full size privacy door to be installed in th bathrooms.
7. Preperation for work for other subcontrators
8. Installing a frame or partition wall for the showers to install a maax style shower system.
9. Will also work as the general contrator to align with other subcontractrors ex. electrician and plumber

Plumbing:

1. New or existing floor drains to be installed or moved to a proper location for better drainage. 
2. Plumbing/installation of new showers, free standing sinks, and replacing the existing toilets (reuse the current ones)
3. Reroute the heat registers an ducts to the wall or ceiling to make the floor water proof

Electrical:

1. Wire the new ventilation fans to the light switch and bring them up to code.

The Rockglen Community Rink is located in the Town of Rocklgen, Saskatchewan

                                 Close date for tenders:  July 5, 2022 5:00pm

                                  Project completion: Sept 1,2022

The lowest or any tender may not be nevessarily accepted.

Successful tender is responsible for taking measurements and for all clean up and waste removal.

A copy of an up to date clearance certificate of letter of good standing with the Saskatchewan Workers Compensation Board to be incuded with tender submission.  Payment of Sask WCB is the reponsisbility of the subcontractor.

A copy of liability insurance must be provided

Electrical, Plumbing permits to be included in each tender.

Subcontractors must follow all building codes pertaining to the project and work alongside a building inspector when needed.
