This RFP is issued by BTY on behalf of the Ministry of Education (MoE) and Saskatoon Public School Division #13 (SPSD #13), collectively known as “the Owners”. The Owners are seeing to retain the services of a Commissioning Agent for the Saskatoon City Center School Project (the “Project”), further described in the RFP document under Section 2.0 – Project Information.

The successful proponent will be responsible for planning, coordination, documentation and reporting of commissioning activities related to the successful design and construction of City Center School Project (PreK-8). This Project will be a collaborative effort between the MoE and SPSD #13 as “the Owners”.

Saskatoon Public Schools has received a commitment from the provincial government to fund a new centrally located school that will service the King George, Pleasant Hill and Princess Alexandra communities. The new school will be built for approximately 500 students opening enrolment and 600 students for design enrolment.

Saskatoon Public School Division No. 13 (more commonly referred to as Saskatoon Public Schools) operates 61 schools in the City of Saskatoon. Its central office is located at 310 - 21st Street East, in downtown Saskatoon, and it serves a student population of more than 25,000, with a staff complement of more than 2,000.
