The Work generally consists of road widening and paving of approximately 1.44 km of horizontal curves
on Grid 675 with road surface improvements to 0.91 km of associated tangent roads, and approximately
4.88 km of road surface improvements to Township Road 462 between Range Road 3252 and Range
Road 3255 in the Rural Municipality of Manitou Lake No. 442. The Work includes topsoil stripping,
approximately 14,000 m3 of common excavation, notching and widening, subgrade construction,
pavement milling, granular base course placement, prime coat, tack coat, and hot mix asphalt concrete
pavement placement.

Tender Documents can be obtained electronically after 2:00 PM, local time, Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
Tender submission must be accompanied by a ten percent (10%) Bid Bond and Consent of Surety as
well as an outline of the Bidder’s safety program and policy, or a valid Certificate of Recognition. The
successful Bidder shall furnish Performance and Labour and Materials Payment Bonds within fifteen (15)
days following confirmation that the Bidder’s Tender has been accepted.
The Rural Municipality of Manitou Lake No. 442 reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders or to
accept the Tender deemed to be most favourable to the Owner, as described in the “Instructions to
Bidders”. The lowest of any Tender will not necessarily be accepted.
