This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (“GOS”), on behalf of the Ministry of Immigration and Career Training(“Ministry”), to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the delivery of the Enhanced Career Bridging Program.
The Ministry of Immigration and Career Training (ICT) leads efforts to help individuals prepare for, obtain and maintain employment, and activities to assist employers with the development, recruitment and retention of workers, consistent with provincial labour market needs.
The Ministry is seeking competitive proposals from proponents for the delivery of the Enhanced Career Bridging program through projects across the Province, outside of Regina, for the period of January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019. Note there is the option to renew for a maximum of one additional year if outcomes are met.
The Enhanced Career Bridging program aims to connect unemployed individuals to the labour force and obtain employment. It is anticipated that many of the program participants will come from groups that are under-represented and/or facing barriers to employment in the Saskatchewan labour market.
Proposals submitted should be from proponents who have expertise in the delivery of employment programming that includes job readiness, skill enhancement, job search and job maintenance and addresses the needs of those under-represented and facing barriers in the labour force. Proposals are welcome from public institutions, private business, and community-based organizations.
