This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) to prospective Proponents to provide Submissions for the provision of the Riverhurst Ferry Electrification, as further described in the RFP Particulars.

The Ministry of Highways (MoH) is electrifying the Riverhurst Ferry, located north of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The ferry operates from mid-April to mid-December transporting vehicle traffic across Lake Diefenbaker near Riverhurst Saskatchewan when the lake is not frozen. The ferry currently uses a diesel-hydraulic propulsion system to power a cable winch that pulls the ferry across the lake.

This competition has been cancelled because: During the evaluation process, it was determined that the proposed pricing from submissions received were over budget.
