The Town of Rouleau and Village of Wilcox invite qualified contractors to submit responses to the Water Treatment Upgrade and Associated Works General Contractor Request for Qualifications (RW-004A) for the Rouleau Wilcox Regional Water Treatment Plant and the Wilcox Pumphouse.  

Rouleau and Wilcox are undertaking a regional water system upgrade, which includes construction of a new regional water treatment plant and reservoir located in Rouleau, SK and a satellite clearwell and pumphouse in Wilcox, SK.  Construction of these works is planned to start in summer 2021.   This RFQ is to shortlist qualified General Contractors who will then be invited to bid on construction of these works. 

In Rouleau, the proposed works include new groundwater production well pumps and supply lines, a new ~320 m2 wood-frame water treatment plant, new biomembrane treatment process and associated equipment, new concrete underground treated water reservoir and waste storage cells, backup power and control system upgrades to an existing water tower, and civil works including site drainage and servicing.  In Wilcox, the proposed works include a new ~110 m2 wood-frame pumphouse, new distribution pumps, backup power, a new two-cell concrete clearwell, and civil works including connections to existing reservoirs cells and site drainage improvements.

No bidders’ meeting is planned for this RFQ.
