TENDER FOR CONVENTIONAL HOT MIX SURFACING STRUCTURE AND PATCHING

Sealed Tenders will be received at the office of the undersigned until 4:00 P.M., local time., on Thursday May 9, 2024 for 6.60 kilometres of Surfacing on Primary Grid 676 located in the Rural Municipality of Heart’s Hill No. 352.

Approximate Quantities:

86,000 m2 Subgrade Preparation and Compaction
43,000 tonnes of Type 6 Sub-Base Course in place in Place (Contractor Supply)
27,000 tonnes of Type 33 Soil Stabilized Gravel Base Course in Place (Contractor Supply)
90 tonnes Bituminous Prime, Tack and Flush Coat
14,500 tonnes Type 72 Fiber Reinforced - Hot-mix Bituminous Surface Course in Place (Contractor Supply Aggregate)
1,500 m2 of Asphalt Milling

Tenders will be opened in public in the office of the R.M. of Heart’s Hill No. 352 (405 Grand Ave, Luseland, Sask.) at the hour of 4:05 P.M, local time, Thursday, May 9, 2024.

Each Tender must be on the forms provided and be accompanied by a certified cheque or alternatively, a bid bond in the amount of not less than “5 % of the Tender amount”.

The Rural Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders and will not necessarily accept the lowest Tender.
