Associated Gas Conservation Study -- EREE202401

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) to prospective Proponents to provide Submissions for the provision of Associated Gas Conservation Study. The deliverables of this contract will consist of a technical report on associated gas (methane) conservation in Saskatchewan.

The objectives of the study are to:

Inventory the current state of methane conservation infrastructure by oil producing region;
Detail current and future capacity constraints on methane gathering, processing, transportation and distribution infrastructure by oil producing region;
Outline the associated gas infrastructure investment decision making process: What is holding back investment? – risks, uncertainties, paybacks, volumes.
Marginal cost curves for methane abatement to understand how costs change as additional volumes are conserved; and
Opportunities for additional volumes to be added into the TransGas/SaskEnergy franchise and marginal costs and benefits.
