Valley Manor Playground

Valley Manor School wishes to install new accessible playground equipment to supplement the existing playground equipment in two separate areas of their playground.

One area is approximately 514 square meters and the other is approximately 306 square meters.

South Corman Park Relocatable Classroom Addition

Removal of one portable classroom from existing location at Venture Heights School, 801 6th St N, Martensville, Saskatchewan, and delivery to  South Corman Park School (Project location) near the intersection of Township Rd 350 (Baker Rd) and Range Rd 3052, LSD 16 – 22 – 35 – 5 – W3M, hamlet of Casa Rio, in the RM of Corman Park, Saskatchewan, south of Saskatoon.

Selective demolition of portions of existing school building at Project location.

Installation of relocated portable classroom Project location.

General construction of link between existing building and portable classroom structure.

Work is identified as South Corman Park Relocatable Classroom Addition, 1760 Baker

Road East, Casa Rio, SK and Project No. 23.048.

A mandatory site meeting for Contractors in conjunction with Owner and Consultant will take place beginning at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, the 15th of May, 2024.

Parties are instructed first to assemble at the principal entrance of Venture Heights School, 801 6th St N, Martensville, SK SOK 2T2. This is the location of the portable building to be relocated.

Parties will then travel to 1760 Baker Road East, Casa Rio, SK S7T 1B5. This the destination of the portable building and Place of the Work.

Gymnasium Upgrade - Hepburn

Replacement of the existing 320m2 gym floor at Hepburn School with new sport flooring and renovations to the gym heating system.

A site walk-through for interested Contractors has been scheduled for Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 2:00pm.

Radio Communications System

The Prairie Spirit School Division (PSSD), as represented by the Transportation Department, is requesting Proposals for a radio communications system.

The project that is the subject of this Request for Proposals has the following goals and objectives:
• Provide communication covering entire school division area.
• Radios to be supplied for the Prairie Spirit school bus fleet (185 vehicles) and for dispatch (6 users).
• Provide training for staff.
• Provide technical support.
• Optional additional coverage area beyond Prairie Spirit boundary.

PSSD - Professional Real Estate Services

PSSD requires Professional Real Estate Services for the potential sale/purchase of commercial property in the RM of Corman Park and the City of Saskatoon.

Audit Services

This request for proposal is intended to obtain the provision of audit services for the Prairie Spirit School Division (PSSD) in accordance with Section 85(1)(s) of The Education, 1995. The annual audit and audit reports provide assurance to the minister, the residents of the school division, the board and other users on:
• The reliability of the financial statements prepared by management (i.e. financial statements present fairly);
• The effectiveness of internal control to safeguard public resources, prepare reliable financial reports and conduct activities in accordance with legislative authorities; and
• Compliance with legislative and related authorities, including directives issued by the ministry.

The work will include the removal of one portable classroom from existing location at Langham

Elementary School, 102 First Ave, Langham, Saskatchewan, and delivery to

South Corman Park School, near the intersection of Township

Rd 350 (Baker Rd) and Range Rd 3052, LSD 16 – 22 – 35 – 5 – W3M, hamlet of

Casa Rio, in the RM of Corman Park, south of Saskatoon.

A mandatory site meeting for Contractors in conjunction with Owner and Consultant will take

place at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 12, 2023.

Parties are instructed to assemble at the principal entrance of the Main School building.

GPS Vehicle Management System

The Prairie Spirit School Division (PSSD), as represented by the Transportation Department, is requesting Proposals for a web-based GPS Vehicle Management System including the supply and installation of new GPS units in 200 school buses and 18 fleet vehicles.

The term of the Contract is for three (3) years, with an option to extend up for an additional three (3) one (1) year contracts, unless otherwise terminated in accordance with the terms outlined herein.

Clavet School Roof Replacement

Work includes removal of approximately 964m2 of inverted BUR roofing and
installation of SBS roofing at the Clavet School in Clavet, SK.
Plans and specifications in electronic PDF format are available from 1080 Architecture, Planning +
Interiors or may be viewed on SaskTenders and at the Saskatchewan Construction Association offices.
Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond / Certified Cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the
tender and a Consent of Surety.
Subcontractors shall file their Bids directly to General Contractors.

Leask School Revitalization - Invitation to Bid

This letter serves as a notification that Prairie Spirit School Division has completed the Stage 
One of a two-stage procurement process for the Leask School Revitalization project. The prequalification 
process was completed in December 2022 with the selection of five (5) general contractors, five (5) 
mechanical contractors and six (6) electrical contractors per attached Prequalified List.

The tendering phase of the project has commenced with issuing of the project’s tender documents to 
the prequalified contractors. Only general contractors, mechanical contractors and electrical 
contractors from this list are eligible to submit bids.

Contract Documents have been shared with the pre-qualified bidders as well as the Saskatoon 
Construction Association and will not be posted on SaskTenders.

Project Summary:
The project consists of partial demolition(~1450sm) and renovation(~3200sm) of the remaining 
existing school as well as an addition of ~225sm. The building will be occupied during construction 
and the work will need to be phased to permit continuous operation. It is anticipated that the 
portion of the school planned for demolition can used as temporary swing space while renovations 
occur elsewhere in the facility. Full project scope is defined within the Contract Documents.

Blaine Lake School Furniture

Prairie Spirit School Division is requesting proposals from office furniture suppliers for the procurement (supply and installation) of furniture for Prairie Spirit School Division to furnish their new K-12 school in Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan.

Blaine Lake K-12 is a new facility currently under construction and is expected to be open for the 2023/2024 school year.

The project may be awarded to one or more suppliers and evaluation will be based on a number of factors.
